Getting student reviews
One of the best ways to find new students is to get your current students to spread the word. You don’t want to be pushy or come across like you want your students to do your marketing but at the same time you do want to make some suggestions because in my experience it works. In fact students who are not prepared to sing your praises may not be completely satisfied with their lessons so its an opportunity to find out before they suddenly disappear.
The following link offers 12 suggestions for getting your students to give you a review. They don’t have to write one. You can record them either on video or audio. If they don’t want their voice heard just do an interview and transcribe it. Remember your students understand you are in business and in most cases want to help you. I know with my favourite teachers I would happily sing their praises to anyone who would listen.
